With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Joseph Sapien Sr. (Santa Maria, California), born in Canutillo, Texas, who passed away on November 10, 2021 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Esteban Sapien and Francisca Sapien; and his siblings, Estella Sapien and Edward Sapien. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Sapien; his children, Henry Sapien Jr. (Tish), Cynthia Castillo and Jennie Contreras (Homero); his grandchildren, Steven, Jason, Matthew Sapien, Savanna and Haley Sustaita; and his sisters, Elvira Aguilar, Eva Adame, Enedena Sapien-Castillo and Elisa Signorelli. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
