She was predeceased by: her parents, Leverett Griggs and Sadie Griggs; and her husband Henry "Hank" Gomes. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Teixeira (Rick), Jason Gomes (Gale) and Diana Reed (Michael); and her grandchildren, Nicole, Justine, Richard, Jody and Kelli. She is also survived by spouses, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
