She is survived by: her husband Peter Uyehara; her son Doug Uyehara; her grandchildren, Taylor Uyehara (Isobel), Torii Larson (Kellan), Naomi and Miles Uyehara; and her in-laws, Thelma Morikawa and Wayne Uyehara. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (624 E Camino Colegio, Santa Maria, CA 93454).
In lieu of flowers, gifts will be appreciated to Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis, MN, Bethel Lutheran Church, Santa Maria CA, or Marian Regional Medical Center, Santa Maria CA.
