She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramona B. Vela and Fidel Vela Jr.; and her brother Fidel Vela III. She is survived by: her family, Angel, Sierra, Victor (Her) and Elsa; her sons, Sidronio Romero Jr. (Janielle), Tomas Romero and Marcos Vela; her grandchildren, Mariah, Francisco, Julian, Tomas, Jaylah, Aaliyah and Josiah Romero; and her siblings, Jorge Vela and Sandra Castro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
