He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Coy Rich and Omega Rich; his daughter Teresa Rich Erickson; his wife Lucy Perry Rich; his sons, Eddie Joe Rich Jr., Danny Coy Rich and Lawrence Orlick; his stepdaughters, Suzanne and Darling; his adoptive daughter Diana; and his sisters, Betty, Jennie and Suzie. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
