It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Catherine Penner of Santa Maria, California, born in Dover, Delaware, who passed away on July 2, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Klause and Susan Klause; her husband John; her sister Jean; and her siblings-in-law, Pete Bonapace and Anna Klause.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darla Tashima (Dennis) of San Diego, Michelle Schmitz (Mark) of Fremont and Leslie Smearden (David) of San Jose; and her siblings, Edward Klause, Patricia Lewis and Nancy Davis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
