He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph and Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rae Van Meter; his stepchildren, David Aldrich, Michael Aldrich (Sumera Qureshi), Diana Aguilar (Michael Aguilar), Kelly Aldrich and Rebecca Aldrich; and his siblings, Dennis Van Meter and Debra Fields. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
