She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Passmore; her parents, Robert and Mae; and her sister Fran. She is survived by: her sons, Nick Passmore (Laura) and John Passmore (Kim); her grandchildren, Josh Nicole (Sharna), Samantha, Garrett (Brittney) and Wyatt Mason (Jaran); and her great grandchild Eli.
As Barbara entered her later years, she was confronted with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's. This was a turning point for our family. Alzheimer's is a disease that slowly takes away memories and abilities that define us, but it could never take away the essence of who Barbara was.
