He was predeceased by: his parents, Heron Geronimo Remoreras and Julia Kaohe Nisperos; his stepfather Eddie Nisperos; his siblings, Walter Imperio, David Imperio, Jerry Borseno, Ron Estabillo and Petrona Amido; and his siblings-in-law, Georgie Imperio, Arthur, Francisco, Alfred Alfonso, Fred Amido, Antonio Amido, Ernest and Abenido.

He is survived by: the mother of his children Deborah Estabillo; his children, Gabriel Estabillo (Jonathan), Julia Reynoso (Sal), Elizabeth Pico and Patricia Arjona (John); and his siblings, Josephine Francisco Alfonso of Guadalupe, CA, Mildred Amido of Nipomo, CA, Marlene Lindauer (Mel) of Daytona Beach, FL, Frances Abenido of Oceano, CA, Elena "Choo" Kroeger (Laird) of Winfield, MO and Lani Estabillo (Sissy) of Germany. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
