She is survived by: her sister Leila Humphrey; her brother-in-law Bob Humphrey; and her children, Carolyn Bates Welch, Henry Bates, Kristi Bates, Ellen Hope Bauerle, Bruce Hope, Paula Hammett, Emily Duffus and Lee Duffus. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
