He is survived by: his parents, Louis Tara and Ruth Tara; his wife Theresa Tara; his children, Cathy Johnson (Mark) of San Diego, John Tara (Carol) of Santa Cruz and Bob Tara (Debbie) of Santa Cruz; his grandchildren, Brett, Taylor, Nick, Kirstyn, Justin and Madison; his cousins, Rick Fife of Scottsdale, Carol Ray and Meryl Carlson; his mother-in-law Mamie Stagnaro; and his sisters-in-law, Jeannie McPherson of Santa Cruz and Carol Tuttle of Santa Cruz.
