He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend Dorothea Dell "Dede" Scheihagen; his significant other National Retriever Field Trial; his wife Dede Goodrich; his children, James Goodrich (Cynthia), Pamela Cooke (Brian), David Goodrich (Brian), Paul Goodrich (Jean), Janie, Snowden and Jürg Ambühl (Gioia); his grandchildren, Lisa (Chris), Jessica (Ryan), Ramana (Mischa), Käthlin (John), Jake (Chelsea), Mallory, Elisabeth, Sophie (Thaïs), Petra and Flurina; and his great grandchildren, Micah, Elliot, Max, Mila and Nora. He was also cherished by his many friends as a true gentleman: strong, determined, honest, frank and with a deep love for his wife.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Raymond's memory be made to a charity of the donor's choosing.
