He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer; his parents, Jeanne W Carey and William J Carey; his sister Maureen Carey; and his nephew McCormac Carey.
He is survived by: his friend Padraic Carey (Pat); his wife Lucena; his daughter Colleen; and his siblings, Michael Carey (Nancy), Christopher Carey (Joan), Cathleen Carey, Cormac Carey, Siobhan Carey and Conor Carey (Rebecca). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
