She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Chester Wilder and Joanna Elizabeth Wilder; her husbands, Robert L. Hughes and Louis L. Hildebrandt; her children, Carolyn Margaret Normoyle and Loren Robert Hughes (Jane Veneman); her son-in-law Michael Normoyle; her grandchildren, David Normoyle, Joanna Normoyle, Robert Veneman-Hughes and Allison Collins (Hughes); her great grandchildren, Annie, Liam and Henry; her stepchildren, Kay Steege (Roy) and Marc Hildebrandt (Deneece); her stepgrandchildren, Tamara Mayes, Deven Ochletree (Amy), Scott Steege (Keri), Sara Steege and Colin Hildebrandt (Jesse); and also, Florence Brooks, Ellen Perry, Inez Peterson and Fred Wilder.

Never one to dwell on matters beyond her control, "Whatever, whatever" was her watchword for surviving and thriving during the past few years of pandemic-induced restrictions.
