He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Portuguese; his wife Edith Marie "Judy" Parsons; his brother Chester "Chet" Mayo; his daughter Linda Diane Tonry; and his grandchildren, Sherry Jacob Padilla, Alisha Jacob Ringo, Michael Jacob, Michelle Jacob and Heather Voss.
Harry donated his extensive photo collection on Santa Cruz city and surf history to UCSC.
