She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Perry Milton Kuntz; her children, Judy Escalante, Rudy Escalante, Jr. (Cathie) and Bernie Escalante; her sister Bonna Valenzuela of Salinas; her grandchildren, Mason Escalante, Ellie Escalante and Jake Escalante; her husband Rudy Escalante, Sr.; and her siblings, Harriet Durkan, Perry Kuntz and Edward Kuntz. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
