He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignacio Lopez and Francisca Longoria; his wife Eva Lopez; his son Jose Luis Lopez; and his siblings, Juan, Lupe, Loa, Ramon and Ramona.

He is survived by: his children, Roy Lopez, Ignacio "Nacho" Lopez, Antonio Lopez, Alfredo "Freddy" Lopez, Jessie Lopez, San Jaunita "Janie" Lopez and Francisca "Kika" Lopez. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
