He is survived by: his wife Jinae Mercado; his sons, Mark Mercado, Carlos Mercado (Katie) and David Mercado; his siblings, Mario Mercado, Louis Mercado (Ceceilia), Gloria Mercado-Fortine (Bruce), Elba Garcia (Richard) and Alma Terranova (Jim); and his grandchildren, Thomas Mercado and Vivian Mercado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
