He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Garside and Lydia Garside. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his stepchildren, Beth Wells, Ben Lutman and Deborah Silver; his sister Margaret Robertson of Toronto; and his nephews, Clive Robertson and Bruce Robertson.
