He is survived by: his son Joseph Battaglia; his wife Robin Bryant Battaglia; his children, Debra Battaglia McCaslin of San Jose and Edward B. Battaglia; his grandson Edward N. Battaglia of Sonora; his brother-in-law Douglas Bryant (Paula); his daughters, Rachel, Christy and Jodi; his brother-in-law Michael Bryant (Nancy); his sister Darlene Battaglia Cardoza of San Jose; his husband Vic; and also, Betty Butler Battaglia, Valerie, Lisa, Joe, Tiffany and Jennifer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
