She was predeceased by: her parents, Leopoldo Lopez and Gertrude Lopez; her husband Ezequiel E. Ascencio; her siblings, Toby, Jenny, Phyllis and Esther; and her daughter Christine.

She is survived by: her sons, Ezequiel Ascencio (Michelle) of Tracy, CA and Jack Ascencio (Sandy) of Sunnyvale, CA; her grandchildren, Valerie Ascencio of San Jose, CA, Tanya Murdy (Tom) of Newburyport, MA, Robert Ascencio of Manteca, CA, Hector Galarza Jr. of El Centro, Ezequiel Galarza (Sandra) of Imperial, CA, Sara Ascencio of Santa Clara, CA, Sinecio Galarza (Yvonne) of Katy, TX, Jake Ascencio of Osaka and Jimmy Ascencio of Manteca, CA; her great grandchildren, Delaina, Devina, Miguel, Mia Danielle, Seriah, Allyssa Jade, Lailah Rose, Jackson Thomas, Bronson Kai, Saira Mericia, Savannah, Amaya James and Laniah; and her great great grandchildren, Gilbert, AJ and Abel.
