A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lima Santa Clara Mortuary (466 N Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050).

Sandy served in the Royal Air Force during World War II, receiving many medals for his contribution to the war effort.
