It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charmaine Celeste Hunton-Rone of Santa Clara, California, born in San Diego, California, who passed away on November 9, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter James Hunton (Jim) and Eileen Ernestine Hunton; her husband Frank Rone; her siblings, Cynthia Hunton of Redwood City, Tina Williamson of Warrenton Virginia and Jim Hunton of San Jose; her nephews, Dutch and Austin Williamson; her niece Alicia Ward; her great-niece Hailey; and her great-nephew Christopher.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to UCSF's Honorary and Memorial Giving program (giving.ucsf.edu/honor-memorial) in Charmaine's name.
