He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Sergent and Bernice Sergent; his wife Shirley; and his daughters, Nancy and Lori.
He is survived by: his significant other Sheila DeLuca; his daughter Kathy Alvarez (Ben); and his grandchildren, Ron Hernandez (Colleen), Daniel Kowal (Courtney), Alex Alvarez and Ambriel Alvarez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
