He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Larkins and Marjorie Larkins; and his brother Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Patti Chandler (Chandler); his sons, Sean (Gabriella) and Todd (DeAnna); his siblings, Dwayne (Jackie), David (Daphne) and Peggy Johnson (Steve); and his brother-in-law Michael Chandler (Susie). He is also survived by nine beautiful grandchildren.

The family requests donations be made in his memory to the "Wounded Warrior Project" or "Military Order of the Purple Heart Association".
