It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Mendoza Chavez (Santa Barbara, California), who passed away on February 23, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Guadalupe Mendoza and Jose Mendoza; her daughter Andrea Perez; her siblings, Mary Solis, Ruben Mendoza, Josie Mendoza, Andrea Mendoza and Vickie Hansen; and her children, Cindy Furlong (David Furlong) and Kenneth Rivas (Silvia Rivas). She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

On February 23, 2021, Teresa was taken from us too soon from the unforgiving illness that is Covid-19.
