She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin L. Marks; and her parents, Mortimer Harris of Chicago and Ethel Harris of Chicago. She is survived by: her children, William H. Marks (Alice) of Los Angeles, Thomas R. Marks (Kathy) of Tucson and Patricia Gartner (Jonathan) of Santa Barbara; her grandchildren, Matthew, Edward, Eleanor, Ben and Simon; and her stepgrandchildren, Hannah, Sydney, Daniel and Andrew.
According to her wishes, no service is planned, but donations in her name may be sent to Planned Parenthood of the Central Coast, 518 Garden Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.
