Henry Lorenzo Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Lorenzo Smith (Santa Barbara, California), who passed away on August 12, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Viola Podsadecki; his son Henry Lee Smith; his stepchildren, Walter Polek, Beverly Rowe and Esther Wild; his grandson Jason Wild; his daughter Juanita Smith (Tracee); and his stepson Arthur Polek (Katy). He is also survived by grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any gifts in his honor be made to the Elks lodge where Henry belonged for 40 years as a charter member, Exalted Ruler in 1987 and 1997, Chaplain, Officer of the Year, Elk of the Year, Wagonmaster of the Wagonairs, and Purple Pig Chairman.
