With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elizabeth (Betsy) H. Edwards (Santa Barbara, California), born in Chicago, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elizabeth left this world on January 23, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Elizabeth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elizabeth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Sifers and George Phillips Hollingbery. She is survived by: her children, Holly Anne Edwards, John Samuel Edwards III and Mary Elizabeth Edwards; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Sophie Edwards and Harrison Roy Edwards; and her sister Debby Niethammer Roth. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
