He is survived by : his spouse Shirley Kell; his children, Rick (Susan) and Sharon Michaels (Scott); his sisters-in-law, Lois Bickerstaff and Kay Bowers; and his caregivers, Haidee, Ted, Ron and Mary. He is also survived by two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Waverley Chapel at Fairhaven Memorial Park (1702 Fairhaven Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705).
