It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Emmett Coover (Santa Ana, California), born in El Paso, Texas, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Hartley Coover and Tammie Coover; his former wife Helga Coover; his daughter-in-law Veronica Coover; his wife Joann Cass Coover; and his stepson Paul Cass.

He is survived by: his children, Helga R Coover (Peter Hicks), Robert E Coover Jr. (Jodi) and Karl R Coover. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 2 great- grandchildren, 3 step-children, a brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
