He is survived by: his brother Dan Maher; and his children, Kalia Codde, Don, Ed, Karl and Richard. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Up till a month ago he was still hiking 1-4 miles/daily and continued to volunteer at SOY, a charity my mom started in 1993!
