He was predeceased by: his wife Lynette Hirose; and his siblings, Atsushi Hirose, Mizuye Kawaguchi, Ruriko Hirose and Ikuo Hirose.
He is survived by: his daughter Tara Afton Hirose Wu (Jeff); his grandson Nathan Mutsuo Wu; and his brother Mutsumi Hirose. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
