He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Gildea and Elizabeth A. Gildea (Gilsenan). He is survived by: his wife Doris Senecal-Gildea (Smith); his siblings, Reverend Monsignor John J. Gildea, Elizabeth and Patricia Lynch (Brian) of New York; and his stepchildren, Michele Laughlin (Kevin), Darlyn Regan (Jim), Gene Senecal (Carla) and James Senecal (Kären). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.
