She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Stevens; her sons, Aubrey Eugene Powell, Robert Allen Powell, James Albert Stevens and Sidney Scott Stevens; her granddaughter Louise Powell; her parents, Erie Rylant and Celia "Tolle" Rylant; and her siblings, Erie Albert Rylant, Jr., Paul Rylant and Alice Hamett.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Louise Whitehorn and Thomas Jacob Powell; and her grandchildren, April Armendarez, Stacie Arroyo, Douglas Powell, Katrina Howard, Isaac Powell, Johnnie Whitehorn, Jr., Leslie Powell, Nicole Stevens, Ashley Stevens, Matthew Stevens, Robert Powell, Jr. and Kristina Coonrod.
