He was predeceased by: his parents, Ovidio Ochoa and Juana Ochoa; and his siblings, Olallo "Lyle" Ochoa and Rosa Parra. He is survived by: his wife Amelia "Amy" Ochoa of Sanger; his children, Dustin Ochoa of Sanger, Crystal Cortez of Sacramento, Lenissa Dinis of Fowler and Desiree Jimenez of Orange Cove; and his siblings, Maximino Melchor of Houston, Olinda Lopez of Kerman, Olivia Gonzales of Sanger and Beda Torrez of Mexico. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
