She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Zavala, Sr.; and her granddaughter Caroline Martinez. She is survived by: her children, Jesus Zavala of Sanger, Rene Zavala of Sanger, Jose L. Zavala of Sanger, Juan F. Zavala of Clovis, Willie Zavala, Jr. of Sanger, Antonia Z. Galaviz of San Antonio, Julia Z. De La Garza of Sanger, Ida Velis of Sanger, Marciana Zavala of Washington and Leonore "Nora" Martinez of Sanger; her sister Joaquina G. Martinez of Arkansas; and her grandson Estevan Zavala of Sanger. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren;37 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
