She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Alanis; and her children, Cynthia Blunt and Robert Blunt, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, John Blunt of Sanger and Richard Alanis (Darlene Gomez) of Katy, Texas; and her sister Rose Chavez of Perris, California. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.
