“It was with great sadness that I got word of Mike's passing. I am still stunned. I left California in '97 after working my last projects with Mike. I tried contacting via phone and even left my business card at the front door when I was in the Bay Area 7 years ago. I will always remember finding his graphics business in Emeryville back in 1974. We struck up a good relationship of working and playing together. My heart goes out to Jean and Nicki for their profound loss. Your friend Nick Tomi.”
