It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benjamin Baptiste (San Ramon, California), who passed away on March 9, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Celia Baptiste and Dario Baptiste; his sons, Kenneth DiBattista and Dario DiBattista; his former wife Linda Lee Baptiste; and his sister Frances Veglia.

“Frances, I was deeply saddened to hear of Ben's death. As you know, we were long-time roommates and best friends. Ben was a great musician and an excellent athlete. At Cal, we spent more time in the gym than the varsity b-ball team. From reading his Facebook I learned that he became a Senior League Softball superstar. In high school, you may remember that I ate more meals with your family than my own. Dario and Cecelia were like a second set of parents. Bill Allen”
