He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father William; his children, Megan Smith (Darren) and Robert Deering (Tiffany); his brothers, Bill Deering (Kathy) and Tim Deering (Francine); his brother-in-law Joseph Ryan; and his grandchildren, Paige Smith, Quinn Smith, Jonas Deering and Cecilia Deering. He was also cherished by several loving nieces and nephews.
