With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franz Wilmot Kohout (San Rafael, California), who passed away on October 16, 2018 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Franz Josef and Enid Boardman Kohout; his spouses, Nevea Ilda Donell and Nancy; his son Martin; his stepson Thomas Otto; his stepgrandson Cameron Otto; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Christopher (Tito) and Thea Kohout.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Senior Access, 70 Skyview Terrace, San Rafael, California 94903, which offers programs and support for families caring for loved ones with memory loss.
