She was predeceased by: her husband Mario Di Leva; her parents, Italo Poli and Silvia Poli; her brother Lino Poli; her nephew Robert Poli; and her brothers, Mike Rivera, Tony (Louise Di Leva), Jero (Betty Di Leva), Michel Di Leva and Salvador Di Meglio (Richard Ambrosi).

She is survived by: her sons, Mario (Lisa), Joseph (Ruth) and Christopher Di Leva (Patti); her siblings, Josephine Rivera and Robert Poli; and her grandchildren, Mario, Joseph, Matthew and Samantha Di Leva. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Virginia's wishes were that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mary Star of the Sea High School.
