With solemn reverence, we commemorate Vieko Obuljen of San Pedro, California, whose life came to an end on February 6, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Vieko farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Vieko is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dinko Obuljen and Lyuba Obuljen; and his wife Alice. He is survived by: his sons, Anthony (Elizabeth) and Pete; his siblings, Gordana (Nikola) and Anton (Trudy); his sister-in-law Margareda (Mario); and his grandsons, Ricardo and Victor. He is also survived by aunt, uncle, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McNerney's Mortuary (570 W 5th St, San Pedro, CA 90731).
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his name to Dalmatian American Club Scholarship Fund.
