She was predeceased by: her father Henry Backlund; and her stepparents, Phyllis and Arch Ecdale. She is survived by: her children, Doug and Carolyn; her grandchildren, Dan and Emily; her brothers, Bob Klink (Kimberly) and Dean Backlund (Marina); and her daughter Roya Backlund.
