She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Tate and Gladys Tate; and her son Michael Joncich. She is survived by: her siblings, Cecilia Hatcher and Lonnie Tate; her daughters, Mary Schulz (Donald) of Simi Valley, Michelle Smith (Russell) of Enumclaw, Roberta Ballard (Kevin Richards) of Woodstock, Georgia and Kathy Linson (Craig) of Portland, Oregon; her grandchildren, Bryan, Renee, Angela, Brent, Carly and Claire; and her stepgranddaughters, Caitlin and Moira.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Student Scholarship Fund of the Washington State Music Teachers Association.
