She is survived by: her children, John Monteverde (Patty), Gilbert Monteverde (Martha), David Monteverde, Oscar Mendez, Bertha Higuera (Raymond), Dolores Hernandez (Raul) and Helen Mraz (Blaine). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
