It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Emilio Nieto (San Pedro, California), born in Long Beach, California, who passed away on February 9, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nieto and Thelma Nieto; his brother Richard Nieto; and his sister-in-law Elena Zamarripa Gonzalez. He is survived by: his wife Christine (Zamarripa); his children, Andrew Nieto and Josette Ramos (Manuel); his brother Michael Nieto (Sylvia); and his mother-in-law Virginia Sausedo. He is also survived by 4 Godchildren (Jennifer Netro, Ruben Netro, Melissa Rios & Maria Nieto Romo), and many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.

In John's memory, donations may be made to Palos Verdes Land Conservancy 3rd Grade Nature Program, Los Serenos de Point Vicente, Palos Verdes/South Bay Audubon Society or Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.
