She was predeceased by: her parents, Perpetua Espina and Pablo Espina; and her siblings, Sylvia, Maria, Jovita, Juan, Ricardo, Lorita, Carmelita, Filicicimo and Eugene Espina (Reynaldo Cuerdo).
She is survived by: her husband Reynaldo Cuerdo; her children, Ritchie Cuerdo of El Sobrante, CA and Liza Cuerdo Shryock (Forrest) of Lafayette, CA; her grandchildren, Caleb Cuerdo Milanes and Chloe Cuerdo Milanes; and her friends, Ruby Leocario and Macrina Goldstein. She is also survived by brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces.
