He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Yee Atkinson; his children, Avis Atkinson-Merrill, Julie Atkinson-Edwards, Kenneth Atkinson, Bill Partridge, Steve Partridge and Deirdre Partridge-McKerral; and his siblings, Alyce Austin-Milstead, Robert D. Austin and John Frederick Austin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and even more great grandchildren.
